The long flights are inevitably boring. Hours and hours sitting in a space and you hardly get enough space to stretch your legs. In addition, these flights do not have a wifi connection. Then what will you do??
If you are one of those people who find it difficult to fall asleep on a plane, do not worry, here are 5 things you can do with your smartphone on a plane without having an internet connection.

1. Download games that do not require connection

Many of the games installed on our phones usually require internet connection to play. Sure you will be upset if you get on the plane and turn your phone to play your favorite game and discover that it requires the internet connection. Don’t worry. There is a solution.

You must be prepared before beginning the journey, check which of your games allow you to play without using connection, if you see that you have none, please download a few games and you will find the journey amazing.

2. Get your music

If you listen to music on your mobile phone with a streaming service like Spotify, note that you cannot hear on the flight because of lack of connection.

What you can do is to download music to avoid problems. Premium services like Spotify can be downloaded on the phone. Download playlists or albums that you like. If you do not want to spend the money for Spotify Premium, you can always use the premium trial version offered free for a month.

3. Podcasts

Sometimes we are tired of listening to our music charts again and again. If that’s the case, you can try podcasts.
There are many conventional radio stations that up their programs every day in podcast format so you can download to your phone and listen offline. Similarly, there are several podcast Apps that allow this functionality. Find out what works best for your phone, download, select a category and find some interesting podcasts to help you pass the time of flight.

4. News, magazines, articles

Another common activity you can do is reading articles and news magazines, newspapers and online blogs.

Do not worry! there are free applications like Pocket or Instapaper that allow you to save your favorite magazines pages or so then you can read offline. Reading while traveling refreshes your mind.

5. Your series and favorite movies

Applications like Popcorn Time for Android not only allow you to view streaming your favorite movies and series but now also give you the ability to download them to your phone not having to rely on an internet connection if you do not have it.

Another option, although a little more laborious, is to pass the movies you want from the PC to the phone. With a couple of movies during the trip, time passes much faster.

If you have any other advice or activity that you think you can be interesting to “kill” time on a flight, leave us a comment and we can include in future articles. Happy Journey…
